Time with Dad

Grant had the opportunity today to go out the rifle range today with just Dad. He had a blast and can't wait until he can go to school in the morning to tell all that he got to shoot a real gun! Greg did capture it for me.

Helping Dad

Here is one of the boys helping Dad mow the yard with our new "tractor"

School picture day

I was so excited about picture day at the boys school. I went and bought shirts to match. I was just imagining what the day would be like and how sweet the picture of the boys might turn out. BUT, Cole had different plans for me. Grant did great, but it took Cole all day to even get a picture by himself and there was not a picture with brother, EXCEPT this one I got in my room before the professional photographer got there. Oh well, I tried!!!!!

Brotherly love

The other night I put Cole to bed and then Grant went to bed a little later. When I went to check on them before I went to bed, this is what I found........how sweet

Then I found them in almost the same exact pose......

Shoes

Cole loves to play with shoes. He got a hold of brother's boots!

Cole

This is why we have not had any trouble with him sleeping in his bed. School wears him out!!!!

Cole in his "Big Boy" bed

Isn't this so sweet!!!!

Here is Cole sleeping in his "big boy" bed. He has been there for a little over 2 weeks now and has done GREAT!! The first night when we tucked him in, he laid perfectly still like a soldier. It was kinda funny because he was so serious. We have not had any trouble with him getting up and trying to get out of bed. I was really dreading having to fight with him about that. Now I just hope and pray he will be this easy potty training!!

Emily Soccer

Here is Emily in her normal post, goalie. She has actually gotten to get out of the goal some this season. Her team is undefeated. Go Hot Shots!!!

Alyssa's First Soccer Game

Here is Alyssa's first soccer game---EVER!!! She is doing great and likes it. You can't miss her team. They are highlighter yellow. Go Pumas!!!

Our trip

Here is the latest trip Greg and I took. We went to Cancun WITHOUT the kiddos. We had a great time. It was great for us to get away and relax and enjoy each other. It was BEAUTIFUL!!! (thanks to my parents for watching the kids for us)
By the way, for those of you who do not know, I'm going back to work. I will be teaching 3 year olds at First Baptist where all of the kids have gone to pre-school. It will be a change. I will have 4 kids at 3 different places....Emily will be in the 6th grade(in Middle School)...Alyssa in the 2nd grade (still Elementary)....Grant in 5-day pre-K.....and Cole in school with me (both boys will be with me). I am also still taking courses...6 hours to be exact...so please keep my sanity in your prayers.
Hope to hear from you soon

Our fish and Dad's new do!

Our little fish

Here is our little fish. Cole is not afraid of the water at all! He loves to jump in and for Greg to throw him in. We are so thankful he loves the water like his big brother and sisters.

Mother's Day 2007

Hello

Hello all,
I hope this finds you all well. I have been following several blogs lately. My sister-in-law has one for her boys and family and it got me to thinking this would be a great way for you all to keep up with our kids over the year. I could post pictures of several events in our lives just to keep you up. Emily will start Jr. High this year, Alyssa is in the 2nd grade, Grant will still be in pre-school, and Cole will be home with me. You can see we will be busy. Greg is still with Mueller, Inc. as the Branch Manager here in Nacogdoches and I have started back to school part-time on-line thru West Texas A&M.

Hope to hear from you all soon.

Kristi
