Mom finally got her new washer! The old one finally broke down and hit the dust. It was suposed to last longer than it did, but come to think about, Mom does at least 3 loads of laundry a day, so it is a miracle that it worked as long as it did. The new one is digital and works wonderfully, it tells how much time it will take to wash a load, and it even plays a cute little song when it is finished!

Make up your mind!
Halloween
Halloween was almost just like every other one. The little kids dressed up and went to the church fall festival and got tons of candy. I however had to march with the high school band for the football game. I did have fun but I much rather had dressed up and go get candy with my friends. Oh well! I guess I will just have to steal candy from the little kids. I also had time to semi-carve a pumpkin that looks totally cool, if I say so myself.

Weekend Off!
A new writter
I,Emily, am now the one who is usually publishing the blog entrys. Mom kinda let it slip through the cracks when school started and got put on the bottom of her priorite list. So, I have taken up the responsibility of trying to keep it up to date. I still haven't gotten to Halloween yet, but I am getting close.
Thanks, Em
Love, Mom

Sassy Hillbillys
The High school had Homecoming a few weeks back so Danny, our youth pastor, decided to have a Homecoming party for the Jr. High students, but with a catch. The theme for the party was"Hillbilly Homecoming" and they were suposed to dress up like a hillbilly. Emily and her friends decided to go and be goofy and have fun. Don't they look cute and sassy?

Soccer Crazyness
Emily, Alyssa, and Grant are ALL playing soccer now! They all seem to like it and love coming up to the soccer feilds all the time. Usually, Saturdays are spent at the soccer feild almost all day. It especially gets crazy when we have out-of-town games. Emily is now out of the goal and playing in defense and Grant is in the goal sometimes. Go Team!
A new sport!
At the begining of the school year, Emily tried out for the Volleyball
team and made it. The girls played 4 games and really improved.
Emily says she really likes volleyball and is going to try out next year.

Start of a new chapter
Please bare with me because school starts Monday for Emily (7th), Alyssa (3rd), Grant (K), and for me and my on-line college classes. Cole and I start at our local Day school on Wednesday....with all of that said, I will try my best to keep the blog updated with the things going on in our lives. Emily, Alyssa, and Grant are all playing soccer and Emily will start volleyball and school sports this year, so I should have plenty of pics later.
Hope your year will be a good one!

I can see!
We have had trouble with our fluorescent lights in the kitchen for some time now. It got to where one would not even come on and sometimes the other one would not either....so.....Friday night and Saturday morning Greg fixed that problem along with it being hot in there when I cook. He hung new ceiling fans. They have been great and it is nice to see and be a little cooler.
Watch out here I come!
This what Greg and I did in the morning before his cousin's wedding.....bought a car!
We wanted a car to get better gas mileage on my many trips around town with the kids and not to put as many miles on the suburban.
It is goosie and sporty and I LOVE it! and so do the kids.
They would much rather ride with me in the new car instead of with Daddy...sorry
Beautiful girls
